In pasture, c. 10m S of stream. Barely perceptible mound of burnt material (c. 9.5m N-S; c. 6.5m E-W); drain along E side. Possibly one of four fulachta fiadh (11468, 11469, 11470) recorded by Bowman (1934, 454) in townland: one in M. Casey's land, One in M. McCarthy's land and two in D. Healy's land. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
