In level boggy pasture. Rectangular area (56m N-S; 42m E-W) enclosed by single earthen bank; by second earthen bank to E and W; remains of third earthen bank at NE corner. Inner bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 2.5m to base of fosse) survives as substantial, steep-faced, flat-topped bank to N and E; lower to W; as low undulation to S. Intervening fosse (Wth 6m; max. D 1.2m), surviving best on E side and at NE corner, is flat bottomed and wet; narrower and drain-like on W side; shallow to S. Second bank (ext. H 1.4m) survives to E and at NE corner as broad-based earthen bank (Wth 10.5m), consisting of outer parapet and inner berm (Wth 6m); berm narrows and parapet reaches its highest (max. H 2.4m int.) at NE corner. At W side, second bank evident as level, broad-based, earthen bank with slight rise at outer edge. Second fosse evident on E side as shallow depression (Wth 8m) and on W side as drain-like feature. Numerous breaks in inner bank; outer and inner bank broken along S half of E side, at which point a leat runs from outer fosse in an easterly direction to join fosse of smaller rectangular enclosure (14191) c. 37m away. Inner and outer bank to W and outer parapet to E continue S for c. 26m to join up with E-W field boundary, enclosing possible annexe. Interior surface boggy and partially overgrown; large pheasant pen in SW quadrant partially overlies slightly raised subrectangular area (12m by 10m; H 0.3m). In NE quadrant remains of rectangular structure (14m N-S; 6.4m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.3m) with break in E and W sides.
