In pasture, on SW-facing slope, overlooking stream. Roughly circular area (30m E-W; 26m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.25m; ext. H 2.25m); shallow external fosse to SW. Field boundary system incorporates E half of enclosure; some stone facing noted (OPW). According to local information breaks in bank to E (Wth 5m) and SW (Wth 4m) always existed but were widened recently; overgrowth in interior cleared and dumped on inner face of bank.
