In level pasture. Circular area (diam. c. 29m) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse. Inner face of inner bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 0.8m) slopes gently down towards centre giving saucer-shaped profile to interior; bank pushed into fosse to S for c. 4m. Intervening fosse (D 0.8m) waterlogged and overgrown. Outer bank (H 0.8m) incorporated into roadside boundary to SE. Possible entrance (Wth 5m) in inner bank to NNE, smaller corresponding break in outer bank; cattle gap through bank to NNW. Possible souterrain (CO019-134---) in interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
