In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Circular area (34m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by low, earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.6m), intervening fosse (D 0.2m) and outer earthen bank. Outer bank hachured ENE->SW and depicted as solid line with hachures SW-> ENE on 1935 OS 6-inch map.
