In pasture. Rectangular area (int. diam. 30m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.6m; ext. H 2.8m); shallow, dry, external fosse to S, W and N. Enclosure skirted by road to N and E; truncated on E side due to road widening and bank replaced by stone wall. Break in bank to S. Interior level and clear of overgrowth. Listed by Barry (1981, 82, no. 19). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
