In level pasture. Circular area (48m E-W; 46m N-S) enclosed by broad, earthen bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1m); external fosse (D 0.4m). Bank planted with trees; break to SSW and NNW; latter break flanked by concrete gate posts. Fosse waterlogged in parts, fed by spring on E side. Interior level; at S side is water trough on cobbled platform.
