In pasture, on level ground, above S-facing slope. Circular area (32m N-S; 31.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.9m); external fosse (D 0.8m) SSE->WNW. Bank heavily eroded NNE->SSW; entrance (Wth 4m) to SE. Fosse area WNW->SSE widened to act as laneway between cottage to N and field to S.
