On gentle N-facing slope, River Awbeg to N, former Doneraile Convent immediately to S. Level square grass-covered graveyard (c. 22m E-W; c. 20m N-S), enclosed by high stone wall to W, N and E, unenclosed to S. Formerly burial ground of Convent; on closure of convent c. 1991, burials removed to Old Court graveyard (14613). Large 19th-century mausoleum in centre.
