What is recorded here

In pasture, on break in E-facing slope, to W of Ardinville House. Depicted as bivallate circular enclosure on 1906 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps, with outer bank replaced by laneway to NW. Circular raised area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by overgrown earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 2.25m). Interior overgrown with deciduous trees. Souterrain (CO017-03002-) in W half. Slurry pit abuts S bank; concrete farmyard abuts W bank. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
