In pasture, on gentle SSW-facing slope, c. 350m NW of Buavanagh House. Circular area (34.1m N-S; 33.9m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m); external fosse (D 0.75m) W->ESE. Break in bank to SSE (Wth 2.8m) and NNW (Wth 3m). Interior and bank planted with deciduous trees. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
