In pasture, on W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured oval enclosure (c. 30m x c. 20m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured circular raised area (diam. c. 20m) on 1937 OS 6-inch map. According to local information, before site levelled in late 1950s, low rise enclosing a circular area survived; field called the fort field. Bushes growing on area of site; at S low rise forms arc.
