In pasture, above stream, on NE-facing slope. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as six-sided enclosure adjoining S side of townland boundary; as D-shaped enclosure (c. 30m E-W; projecting c. 30m to S) on 1905 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps, with townland boundary forming straight side. Levelled; D-shaped area (straight side c. 27m E-W; projecting c. 21m to S) defined by low grass-covered rise (int. H 0.3m) NE->SSW; shallow external fosse (D 0.25m) NE->NW. Straight side to N defined by scarp (H 1.25m) down to farm trackway; scarp continues down to stream on N side of trackway. Interior appears to be slightly raised; slopes gently down to N.
