In pasture, on break in E-facing slope. Circular area (38.2m NNW-SSE; 36.7m WSW-ENE) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.5m) NE->N; external fosse survives to W as gentle slope down to base of bank. Bank NE->E disturbed due to farm building truncating outer bank face; planted with mature deciduous trees E->N; stone faced in parts externally; gateway in bank to SSE. Interior slopes down from centre to NNE; higher next to E bank; path cuts into interior from gateway (SSE) to levelled bank (NNE).
