What is recorded here

In rough grazing, c. 85m S of stream. Undulating grass-covered area (c. 14m E-W) containing mounds of burnt material (max. H 0.6m), and intervening waterlogged depressions. Second fulacht fiadh (10544) c. 200m to NE. Probably one of ten fulachta fiadh (see 10547) recorded in townland by Bowman (1934, 397-8). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
