In pasture, atop hill. Circular area (39.5m NE-SW; 38.2m NNW-SSE) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.85m); external fosse (D 1.25m) SE->NE. Bank NE->E partially levelled and fosse infilled; bank high to E, protruding into interior with circular depression on outside which once accommodated lime kiln (1842 OS 6-inch map). Break (Wth 2.6m) in bank to NNW; dumped material inside break at S side. Interior level.
