In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope overlooking Owenanare River valley. Oval area (47m E-W; 37.2m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.7m; ext. H 2.2m) with faint trace of fosse as shallow depression to NE and S. Break (Wth 3.6m) in bank to ESE, to S of which is remains of field fence extending out from bank. Limekiln incorporated into W bank; to N of kiln bank disturbed, resulting in break to WNW (Wth 3m) and NW ( Wth 8.9m). At break to NW bank pushed to one side into interior. Remains of stone facing in outer face of bank to S. Interior used as vegetable garden. Documentary evidence for church site and burial ground (CO015-04003-) in interior.
