What is recorded here

In pasture, on SW-facing slope, overlooking Allow River valley. Circular area (58.5m N-S; 55.6m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m. ext. H 1.35m) with external fosse (D 1m). Bank incorporated into field fence system W->N; break to NE (Wth 4.3m) and ESE (Wth 2m); cattle gaps to SW and W. Interior surface uneven; terraced to compensate for hill slope. According to Bowman (1934, 626), remains of church site (CO015-01502-) in interior. Second ringfort (CO015-01503-) c. 20m to SSE.
