Galláin — Glenlara

In rough pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope of Glenlara River valley. Row of six stones, aligned NE-SW, one of which is prostrate. Overall length of row is 16.5m. NE stone is 0.75m L, 0.4m T and 1.1m H. Second stone, 3m to SW, is 0.55m L, 0.3m T and 0.55m H. Third stone, 3.35m from last, is 0.6m L, 0.3m T, and 0.45m H. Fourth stone, 0.8m further to SW and transversely set to main axis, is 0.6m L, 0.4m T and 0.8m H. Fifth stone, 0.2m from last, is prostrate; it measures 0.55m by 0.4m by over 0.75m. 'M. T. LINEHAN' is carved on its upper surface. Sixth stone, 2.9m to SW, is incorporated in field fence; it measures 1.5m L, 1m T and 2m H. Bowman records two other stones as forming part of row; one in drain area between fifth and sixth stones, other between second and third stones (Bowman 1934, 116).
