What is recorded here

In grazing land, on gentle W-facing slope. Circular, slightly raised area (22.4m E-W; 22.3m N-S) enclosed by inner earthen bank (int. H 0.3m) NE->SE; scarp elsewhere; intervening fosse; outer earthen bank (max. H 0.7m); external fosse (D 0.1m) to NW. Banks grass covered; interior surface overgrown with reeds. Souterrain (CO014-07302-) in interior. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
