In pasture, on break in W-facing slope, overlooking Owenanore River. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on 1842, 1904 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps. No visible surface trace of site; according to local information levelled c. 1985. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 136-7) as double-ramparted fort (diam. 41yd) on John Flynn's land; 'outer rampart levelled. Inner rampart varies from 3ft to 5ft, and 9ft thick at base'. Possible souterrain (CO014-04402-) in interior.
