On W bank of River Dalua. Pump house now covers well. According to local information, well was dedicated to 'Our Lady'; also local tradition that blood on stones of priest killed there gave it name 'Tobar na gCloc Dearg'. According to Bowman (1934, 127), formerly a holy well but 'rounds, long since discontinued, were paid on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.'
