In glen, c. 20m E of stream. Hachured as mound (diam. c. 30m) on 1936 OS 6-inch map. Natural hillock. Probably 'Cnocán na bPaidreacha, little hill of the prayers' recorded by McCarthy (1991, 86), as 'sited in a lonely glen...a cone shaped mound' where 'many years ago rosary beads were found'. Bowman (1934, 108) noted tradition that Mass was celebrated there in the Penal Times.
