In pasture, c. 19m SW of well. Low horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L c. 22m; Wth 13.5m; H 0.8m); opening (Wth c. 4m) faces E. Probably the site of fulacht fiadh (see 10851) on J. Broderick's land recorded by Bowman (1934, 87). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
