Not marked on 1842 OS 6-inch map. In N portion of field named 'Parc-an-imerish' on 1905 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps. Stone stands c. 15m to S of field fence which defines Cork-Limerick county border. Stone (H 1.05m; 0.82m x 0.54m) is rectangular in plan, long axis NE-SW. According to local information, Brian Boru's brother, Mahon was killed in this field.
