In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (13.8m N-S; 13.4m E-W) consisting of interior platform and infilled fosse enclosed by outer bank of earth and stone (int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1m). Low revetment of three large stones inside bank to NW. Interior planted with trees. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 14 January 2009
