On top of a Little Carron, on Cork/Limerick county boundary; second cairn c. 235m to WSW on top of Carron Mountain (11813). Roughly circular mound of stones (14m E-W; 11.6m N-S; H 1.64m) with steep sides and on top of Little Carron, on Cork/Limerick county boundary; second cairn c. 235m to WSW on top of Carron Mountain flat top (diam. 5m); partially covered with grass and heather. Five other mounds marked on OS 6-inch maps along county boundary are recent.
