What is recorded here

A black lens (L 0.3m; D 0.3m) is visible in the W face of the drain, c. 0.6m below ground level. It is not visible in the E face of the drain. There is a marshy area, covered with reeds and rushes immediately to the N. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
