In pasture, atop slight rise, c. 260m N of Awbeg River. Indicated on 1842, 1905 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps as circular field named the 'Round Acre', with farmhouse and yard to NE. Circular area (91m E-W; 88m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.15m) with external fosse (D 0.35m). Fosse waterlogged to N. Breaks in bank to NE, SSE, SSW and NW. Circular enclosure (13639) and ring-ditch (11928) c. 20m and c. 65m to SW respectively.
