In pasture, on gentle SE-facing slope, c. 250m to NE of Altamira House. Circular area (c. 45.3m NW-SE) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m), with external fosse (D 1.3m). Bank planted with beech trees; gap (Wth 0.6m) in bank to ESE. Earthen bank cuts diagonally through fosse to N. Fosse infilled to SE where roadway runs outside it. Interior overgrown with briars.
