What is recorded here

In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Depicted as hachured roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map, truncated by field boundary to NW. Levelled; low, flat-topped, D-shaped rise (straight side 25m NE-SW; projecting 34m to SSE) abutts field boundary to NW, defined by gentle scarp (max. H 0.4m); barely preseptable trace of external fosse noted to E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
