In low-lying pasture. Square platform (42m N-S; 41m E-W) enclosed by wide waterfilled fosse to E, S and W; fosse dry to N and mainly infilled. Causewayed entrance (Wth 2.5m) to S now blocked by abandoned farm machinery and overgrown. Modern drain beyond infilled fosse to N fed by drain which extends from W fosse. Second moated site (14182) c. 170m to WSW.
