What is recorded here

In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope, to N of stream. Roughly circular raised area (44m E-W; 37.8m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.7m) NW->SSE; scarp (H 1.55m) elsewhere. External fosse survives to N, cut into hillside; ground outside fosse at higher level than interior; stream flows in fosse. Gap in bank to NE (Wth 1.9m) and SE (Wth 2m). Interior surface cut up by cattle; W side at lower level and separated from remainder of interior by scarp; near centre is ring-barrow-like feature caused by cattle feeder, now removed.
