What is recorded here

In marshy ground, c. 20m S of tributary of River Feale. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (12m ENE-WSW; 11m NNW-SSE; H 1.1m); opening (Wth 1.8m) faces NW. Trail of burnt material (max. H 0.4m) extends westwards (L 6.7m) from W 'arm' of mound. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
