What is recorded here

In pasture. Raised circular area (39.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.2m); external fosse (D 1m) survives undisturbed NNW->NE; recut for use as watercourse NW->NNW and material from digging dumped on bank. Break in bank to NW (Wth 3.2m); causewayed entrance (Wth c. 2m) to SSW, blocked by fallen trees. Interior raised above level of surrounding field and heavily overgrown. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
