In undulating pasture, in SE corner of field. Levelled; noticeable rise visible in corner of field. Incorporated into field fence system is scarp NE->SE, with external fosse (D c. 0.5m). An earlier report (OPW, 22-12-1981) recorded circular area (diam. c. 22m) enclosed by low earthen bank (H 0.5m) with narrow external fosse and interior sloping gently down to SSE.
