In pasture; abutting townland boundary on W side. Rectangular area (57m E-W; 45m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.85m) with external fosse (D 0.9m). Fosse appears to be deepened to S and W, with resulting spoil dumped on bank; E fosse partially infilled; N fosse appears to be untouched. Entrance (Wth 3.2m) midway along E side. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
