In pasture, on W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 28m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as circular area (diam. c. 25m) on 1905 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps, enclosed by fosse with well in S fosse. According to local information, levelled c. 1978. Circular area (28.8m E-W; 26.3m N-S) enclosed by fosse (D 0.35m). Fosse most clearly defined to W and N; causewayed to N (Wth 3m) and W (Wth c. 1.5m). Spring immediately S of interior causes waterlogging in this area. W half of interior is at a slightly higher level than remainder.
