In pasture, on W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured penannular raised area (NW->SSW) on 1936 OS 6-inch map. Oval area (28.3m E-W; 20.9m N-S) defined by low rise (int. H 0.15m; ext. H 0.2m) with external fosse (D 0.2m). Bank less well defined SW->W where it borders a marshy area. Fosse to W and E defined by vegetation pattern only. Spring lies a few metres beyond site to NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
