In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 25m) enclosed by two earthen banks (inner bank: int. H 0.55m) with intervening fosse. Outer fosse survives to W and N; field boundary runs outside outer bank to E, with stream flowing in between; wide marshy depression (D 0.7m; Wth 12.6m) to S. Enclosure heavily overgrown with hawthorn bushes. Rectangular enclosure (CO002-023---) c. 20m to SW in same field, and circular enclosure (CO002-025---) in adjoining field to E.
