In undulating pasture. Depicted as hachured oval enclosure (c. 55m NE-SW; c. 45m NW-SE) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Low rise survives, irregular in shape and bisected off-centre to W by field boundary. According to local information, portion to E of field boundary 'levelled off' c. 1980; no bank or fosse then existed. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 14 January 2009
