In level pasture. Circular area (41m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1m) SW->SE, with external fosse (D 0.5m); truncated on S side by townland boundary (surviving diam c. 29.7m N-S). Causewayed entrance (Wth c. 4m) to E. Enclosure heavily overgrown with trees and bushes. Drain cuts through interior on N side of townland boundary. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
