On the W bank of the River Owenagarney channel in the Shannon Estuary, 160m N of Little Quay Island. Described by O’Sullivan (2001, 298) as a possibly medieval ‘post-and-wattle fence (Bunratty 1.1), horizontal post-and-wattle panel (Bunratty 1.2) and vertical posts and horizontal branches in estuarine clays exposed below the mean LWM over an area measuring 10m (NE-SW) by 1m.
