What is recorded here

At the S end of Coney Island in the Fergus Estuary. Described by O’Sullivan et al. (2010) as follows: ‘A possible fulacht fiadh is located on the southern tip of Coney Island. It is a horseshoe shaped grass-covered mound, 1.5m high by 3m long. It is 30m from the shore on both sides. Without further investigation it is difficult to classify this monument’.
