On the W side of Inishloe Island in the Fergus Estuary. Described by O’Sullivan et al. (2010) as follows: ‘Two stakes are located on the western side of Inihsloe Island in the mud flats, c. 15m from the shore. They lie c. 7m apart. A creek lies just to the east. They are similar to stakes found on Canon Island which is less than 300m across the water to the east. These were possibly used to hold a net or possibly are the remains of a more substantial wooden fishweir.’ (O’Sullivan et al. 2010, Appendix 1, 56, Inishloe Island 2)
