Situated c. 20m inside the outer rampart in the SW quadrant of Mooghaun hillfort (CL042-074001-) on level, relatively stone-free ground, overlooking a steep slope down to the outer rampart. Depicted on a coloured, large-scale (5-inch) OS plan from 1840. A hut site (diam. 4.5m) defined by a double-kerbed and rubble filled wall. There is no clear entrance feature.
