Lying recumbent at the entrance to the S transept in Quin Abbey church (CL042-027002-). A trapezoidal shaped limestone graveslab (L 1.69m; Wth at base 0.57m; Wth at shoulder 0.48m narrowing to 0.19m at the top). The slab is broken irregularly across the middle. An incised carving of an axe is at the lower end. Westropp (1900, 438) notes that this is said to be the tomb of a carpenter killed by a fall from the roof in medieval times. A second slab (CL042-027020-) lies immediately to the E.
