On a N-facing slope in pasture. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A D-shaped grass-covered area (int. dims. 29m E-W; 24m N-S) defined by an earthen bank which is best preserved (Wth 5.5m; int. H 1.9m; ext. H 2m at S) SE-SW and which may have been augmented (Wth 9m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.8m) SW-NW. The outer face of the bank is cut away and faced with stones (H 2.4m) at E, and the site is truncated by an E-W roadway at N. There is no visible fosse, and the entrance (Wth 2m) at NW is probably modern.
