At the summit of an E-W ridge. Listed as 'Enclosure' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). An oval grass-covered area (int. dims. 60m N-S; 46m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 6-8.5m; int. H 0.6-1.2m; ext. H 2.2-2.4m) SSW-N which is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 1.5-2.2m; int. H 1.2-1.4m; ext. H 1.8-2.6m) with some external facing-stones N-SSW. The outer fosse (Wth of base 2-3m; ext. D 0.3m) SSW-N is much slighter (Wth 2.5m; D 0.1m) NNE-SE, and absent SE-SSW. There is a modern entrance (Wth 3m) at NW, but the original entrance could not be identified.
