In mixed woodland, just off the crown of a ridge (long-axis c. NE-SW) having good views to lower ground NE-NW and overlooking a cashel (CL035-082----) c. 40m to SW. Listed in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996) as 'Enclosure'. A circular area (33m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by a collapsed moss-covered stone wall (int. H 1.05m; ext. H 1.2m; Wth at top 1.2m; overall Wth 6.95m) which is best preserved NE-N and is lower, being quite degraded N-NE. An entrance gap (base Wth 1.2m; overall Wth 3.2m) is located at W. A shallow linear channel (long-axis ENE-WSW) skirts the exterior of the monument at SE. A trackway (long-axis NW-SE) extends across the woodland area to SW of the monument and continues in a curvilinear form to respects the enclosing elements WSW-NE.
